How to get Adobe Typekit fonts

I do not know if you already heard about Adobe’s platform Typekit. It is a marketplace for fonts. Adobe Typekit offers thousands of fonts in a great library on a subscription basis or to purchase. Check out their homepage if you want to know more.

The fonts are synchronized through the Adobe Creative Cloud Client. That means you cannot use them in other software like Word. To install your downloaded fonts, navigate to their folder:

Copy the content of the folder to a safe place on your computer, for example, the desktop. On Windows add the extension “.ttf” to the file. On OSX you don’t need to do that. Now you can install the fonts.
