Since 2009 Trimble Mobile licenses for your Recon, Juno, Nomad, Geo’s etc have required an Activation procedure to lock down the install code to that device. Since Fall 2011 Trimble has required this for the Trimble MGIS Office software.
- Do not type anything into the 'Server name' text box. It is tempting, but will have no effect. Once the correct server is selected, click OK. You'll be prompted to restart the software for the changes to save. Restart the software and the License Manager will read the license from the license server until modified.

How to move (deactivate) a Trimble MGIS license from 1 device to another – including PC’s? What do you do?
